I sure hope so. I just have a very cautious feeling about the rest of the games. I guess that's natural. Once you have a win streak going, you get to thinking "is this the one?"Statistically, the Heels are better than the dookies in EVERY category. The on field product will show just that.
Who have they truly played that has tried to run the ball on them? Probably the best team they've played is Northwestern. No back to Elijah Hood's level. Simple answer for 3rd down also.....don't get there. Or if you must, I like the game plan against Pitt. Run it on 1st and 2nd down, get to a 3rd and manageable and keep moving the chains. Where the Heels have came up short has been when they take deep shots early in the chains and end up in 3rd and 6+.dook's run defense is considerably better than UNC's (3.0 ypp compared to 4.6 ypp) and so is their 3rd down defense (30.8% compared to 41.5%). That said, the dookies haven't played a single team whose offensive efficiency is remotely close to UNC's.
NW's offense is pitiful. The best offense they've played is GT, and 4 of the 7 FBS teams they've played are outside the top 100 in offense yards per game.Who have they truly played that has tried to run the ball on them? Probably the best team they've played is Northwestern.
Alright, wasn't sure about Northwestern. Being outside of B1G country, everyone outside of Ohio St, Michigan, and Michigan St doesn't get any airtime. Hopefully the boys come ready to hit and cram the ball down the dookies throats'.NW's offense is pitiful. So yeah, everything about their defensive stats has to be taken with a grain of salt. They're about to face one of the most efficient offenses in the country.
