Stats from last night

I have studied the box score from last night. I was wondering if the Heels have ever lost
a game in which they were not outshot (percentage wise) and only had 4 turnovers. I
know that free throws and rebounding were significant, but the 4 turnovers is driving me
nuts. I would have never thought that this team could play a highly regarded team
and only turn it over 4 times!!!! I don't recall a loss with that few turnovers.

Only 4 turnovers is unreal for a losing team. However, 2 of those were crucial to our loss...

1. JP's fast break / collision that resulted in the ball going out of bounds off him
2. Britt getting stripped and the layup going the other way

I hear you Mark. I guess the fact that Wisconsin only had 5 turnovers was
a huge factor. I just thought it was an odd stat for a losing team. This UNC
team isn't known for taking care of the ball. If Roy had been told that we
would score 72 points, have 4 turnovers and would be even in shooting
percentage, he probably would have liked our chances. I know that
I would have thought we would have won with those stats. As you
pointed out, games can come down to one or two key plays.
