WACO, TEXAS - North Carolina junior wide receiver/punt returner Ryan Switzer has been named to the American Football Coaches' All-America Team announced today by the American Football Coaches Association.
Switzer, who leads the team in receptions and punt return average, was named to the team as an all-purpose player. A native of Charleston, W. Va., Switzer returned two punts this season for touchdowns (vs. Illinois & Miami) and is the ACC career record holder with seven punt return touchdowns.
