Carolina Notes
• UNC clinched a top-four seed and a double bye in the 2022 ACC Tournament.
• Carolina is 2-0 in overtime this season (also at Louisville).
• Carolina led for 15:08 of the 45 minutes. It’s the fewest minutes UNC has led in a win this season (previous 16:10 at Charleston and 16:16 at Clemson).
• Carolina concluded its home schedule in the Smith Center 15-2 this season. The 15 wins equal the fourth most by UNC in the 37-year history of the Smith Center.
• Carolina had 21 assists on 29 field goals. The 21 assists tied the second most this season.
• Armando Bacot tied the single-season UNC record with his 23rd double-double and set the record with his 24th game with 10 or more rebounds. He tied Brice Johnson’s record for double-doubles (23 in 2015-16).
• It was Bacot’s second straight game with 18 rebounds. He broke his own record for most rebounds by a Tar Heel against Syracuse (he had 15 on 3/1/2021). Pete Brennan also had 15 on 3/16/1957.
• This was the second consecutive game Bacot set a UNC record for rebounds against an ACC opponent (18 at NC State).
• It was the sixth time this season Bacot had 18 or more rebounds and the second time this year he had at least 18 in back-to-back games.
• Bacot tied his career high with nine offensive rebounds (also nine vs. Virginia 1/8/22).

• Brady Manek led UNC in scoring with 22 points. It was his sixth 20-point game as a Tar Heel and 18th of his career.
• Caleb Love had 21 points. UNC is 11-0 in his career when he scores 20 points.
• Love scored 14 of his 21 points in the final 2:23 of regulation and overtime.
• Leaky Black had eight points, seven rebounds, seven assists and three blocked shots.
• UNC is 12-2 all-time when Black has five or more assists.
• RJ Davis made five threes and scored 17 points and had five assists. The five 3FGs are the second most for Davis (six against Brown in November).
• Carolina made 14 threes, the second most in a game this season (15 in home win over NC State on 1/29/22).
• Carolina held Syracuse to 1 of 7 (.167) from the floor in overtime. The Tar Heels made five of six shots in the extra period (.833).
• The Orange had made 30 of 57 (.526) shots from the floor through regulation.
• Cole Swider’s 36 points are the second most by an opponent in the Smith Center. Lionel Simmons of LaSalle scored 37 on 1/9/1988. Swider’s 36 are the most since Malik Monk of Kentucky scored 47 on 12/17/2016 in Las Vegas. His 14 field goals tie the second-most by an opponent in the Smith Center.
