I forgot to wear my lucky sky blue polo, which I wore the past 2 Saturdays. Instead, I wore a navy polo.

Was there any discussion in Chapel Thrill about pulling a South Carolina and playing the game on Sunday? On a clean field I still like our chances, but not in that type of weather. That day was set up perfect for Va. Tech.

i realize football is an all weather sport ... however, i do not believe the unc or nc state games should have been played ... dilutes the talent of all of the players/teams ... just not the best of football - imo

there were some other factors in cola that dictated the move...first being evacuees from the coast sent early on...they were told to make plans on tuesday evening...not sure what the gov of nc said or demanded.

also, even though columbia is the capital city, hotel space in the city and around isn't not even close to rdu area...columbia is like a giant town.

also, georgia probably had no problem with the move...their schedule might not have been affected b/c they're home anyway next week...both carolina & vatech are away so that's an extra day lost with moving the game.

these are just guesses on my part by the way.

FL-LSU hasn't been rescheduled yet but there was just no chance to play that game. I'm sure the vendors at Kenan would have loved a rechedule
