GT's option offense looks to be running a tad smoother than it was when they played us, but VT looks very, very average so far. Defensively, they blitz a ton but really don't hit home with them. Offensively, they are Bucky Hodges and that's about it.

Yeah the chokies, if nothing else, look very plain. If we play to our potential we should handle them well. So here's hoping to that.

HAHAHAHA ACC refs at it again. VT receiver clearly waves his arms BELOW his waist to tell his team "get away" then returns the punt and gets called for an illegal fair catch signal.

It was ugly. I kept thinking that it would be embarrassing to lose to this GT team. And VT was better only because of a couple of very good plays on D causing fumbles.

VT hasn't lost to UVA since 2003 in Charlottesville. The VT players and staff will want to keep that streak alive as Beamer retires at least as much they want to keep alive the bowl streak.
