Terror at UVA

This country is getting more violently crazy every year.
“UVA has a Threat Assessment Team that, according to its website, assesses and intervenes with individuals whose behavior poses a threat to the safety of the university community.
Longo said Monday that Jones came to the attention of the school's Threat Assessment Team twice.
Longo said in the first instances, Jones was involved in a hazing investigation.
During the course of that investigation, the team learned of a prior criminal incident involving a concealed weapon that occurred outside the City of Charlottesville in February 2021.
"What is interesting about that case is he is required as a student at UVA to report that, and he never did, so the university has taken appropriate administrative charges through the university's judiciary counsel and that matter is still pending adjudication," Longo said.”

Criminals do not give up their weapons no matter how much you toughen laws against people being able to legally own weapons. People with no honor are not going to follow an Honor Code.
This might be another case of a just mean person who delights in inflicting violence. Its might be another case of a crazy person being given the benefit of the doubt until it is too late. It might be a case in which alcohol and/or drugs turn what otherwise would have been a fistfight into a murder spree.
The country has been filled with all 3 over the past few years, much higher rates than in opening of this century. . Trying to solve that problem of massive violence with some form of Dora the Explorer's 'Swiper No Swiping' is only get more people murdered.
This doesn't sound like a mass shooting. It sounds like this guy had a personal problem with them, so he shot them.
