Testing memory of 1960's player vs Trimble

As I watched the VT game last night, it struck me that Trimble plays the way I remember a player from the mid-60's. Bob Lewis! He was 6"3" and the story was always that he could jump so high, he could take a quarter of the top of the backboard and leave 2 dimes and a nickel. I think Lewis was a better shooter but we did not get to see players as much in the old days so my memory may be skewed.
