Tex A&M sexual innuendo drama

Meh... Unless there is a rape or hazing as a result, I don't see much here. I would take it as a funny joke, to be honest.

The fact this is even a story displays the sad direction the country as a whole is headed in, IMO. Seems like harmless joking to me as well - and it is actually relevant to what they're trying to teach, they just obviously purposefully tried to insert some innuendo where they had the opportunity.

It's not like the board says "Tie them down and rape them" or something like that. (which honestly, I wouldn't have a problem with either, because I'm not one of those people that believe that just because you read words on a chalk board that you're then going to go out and commit said acts - but I can more easily understand how that would be construed as a problem). Or, if this had happened at Baylor or something amidst their recent incidents it could come off the wrong way.

I'm going to go the other way on this one and y'all know I despise PC. That slideshow was completely inappropriate and showed complete lack of awareness by those two coaches. They should be suspended.

Looks like chaos continues to unfold under Sumlin's watch. It's gonna suck seeing Fedora ball out in College Station next year.

I have mixed feelings about it.

Yes, the group of women was there to learn about football and boys will be boys. It's like a female reporter going into a locker room.

On the other hand, discretion is the better part of valor. As head coach, I'd be concerned about the poor judgment displayed by the two assistant coaches who thought it was a good idea.

That is very poor judgment on those coaches' part, but it is not something that we, as a society, should be the judge and jury for. Allow that to play out in the sense that parents will see that and not allow their child to attend. Allow other coaching staffs to use that as a negative recruiting tool.

In sports - playing time speaks (if you're a player). Wins and losses speak (if you're the coach). The ramifications felt here would be when the program suffers and they get fired. Everything comes full circle, but in terms of you and me in this situation -- leave PC out of it, and allow the chips to fall as they may.

Ah ok, I thought this was just on a board in their locker room or weight room or something. I didn't realize it was included in a formal presentation to outsiders. In that case, the suspensions seem warranted... but the outcry is still overblown.

A formal presentation to a room full of women, literally. It was one of those events where female A&M fans learn more about football.

Well, as a woman, had I been in there seeing that board my first thought would have been that the coaches must be homosexual..... "Bang HIM hard" ain't talking about hitting anything clitoral LOL
