Don't know about you folks, but, I'd be scared down to my socks and filled with anxiety . .

4 of them have been rescued to date, my prayer are out for all the rest. Godspeed to all involved.

I don’t know anything about diving, but I have friends (two brothers) from the coast that are certified and give lessons. They have never been cave diving and never intend to because it supposedly is significantly more dangerous than any other kind of diving.

At one point the passage gets so narrow that they have to take the tanks off of their backs. They’ll have to follow the dive line, manage their own dive, and lead an untrained child at the same time. And it’s pitch black.

They were successful with the first group of boys. Maybe they can pull this thing off. Those guys are heroes

I haven't followed it closely but does anyone know how the hell they made it to where they are in the first place? Did they actually hike that far into the cave and if so, what was their coach thinking?

I believe they were hiking then a storm blew in and flooded the tunnel. They were driven back further to the high ground as it filled up with water

Thrilled to hear that four kids have been rescued to date. Praying for the eight that are left, their coach, and all the brave men and women involved in the daring rescue.

As someone who is claustrophobic and not particularly adept in the water, this would be my worst nightmare.

They’re extremely lucky that they even found them down there in the first place.

100% agree. I wouldn’t have gone in the freaking thing in the first place. Those caves freak me out.

The boys were sedated, passed from diver to diver, through the cave - monitored by drs posted in cav

the video of the rescue, which ended on Tuesday when the final four boys and their 25-year-old coach emerged from the cave, was released by authorities who had until today closely guarded the details of the unprecedented operation. After days of speculation, a former Thai Navy SEAL diver revealed the boys were sleeping or partially conscious as they were passed from diver to diver through the cave. 'Some of them were asleep, some of them were wiggling their fingers... (as if) groggy, but they were breathing,' Commander Chaiyananta Peeranarong said. 'My job was to transfer them along,' he said, adding the 'boys were wrapped up in stretchers already when they were being transferred' and were monitored at regular intervals by doctors posted along the kilometres-long escape route.
