To me, it seems that Hubert’s lack of bench usage was the biggest reason that we failed so miserably.
Opponents had no real reason to game plan for anyone except our starters, Puff, and Seth.
Defenses could routinely hassle and fatigue our guards; hence, their perimeter shooting skills
were quite diminished compared to the 2022 magic carpet ride to the title game.
Let’s all hope it changes next season.

Could be hard to get players from the portal if they are not starters. They are in the portal for a reason, and it's not to be a practice player and barely see minutes in the games.
Hubert's coaching mindset is the same as the K. The starting 5 and bunch of bench warmers. He could have had a Blue Team but never attempted that style of subs. No improvement from day 1 of practice to the end of season.
If the starters keep making mistakes and going flat, and still play all the time, then the guys on the bench will start to give up.
Exactly. Davis has sent the message that he is OK with playing all 5 starters at least 33 minutes each even when the team is laying a rotten egg. So why go to UNC unless you are guaranteed to start or you are happy riding the pine permanently?
