I really like Catchings, like his 3 potential too. I also think it is a tough sell to keep Drake. If they can, Drake may play some 2, and go long athletic dee. If they grab a solid point who can score and a big. Look out !!

Sounds like Manek's rep coming in from Oklahoma. Dee could be a problem, I still like how he played on offense at BYU.

Hopefully, a change of scenery and the obligatory maturation will fix those issues if they were present. I am glad we are leveraging all relationships to improve.

Yeah but here is the interesting part, kid was 6'6" when he committed to BYU, he grew to his current 6'9" since. Now do you recall when you hit your growth spurt as a young man, I recall mine, I was stiff and my hips felt at times like a knife was stabbing me, at times I could barely walk, scared me because I didn't understand why I was hurting. Once that growth spurt is over it takes a kid a while to get control over his body again, takes a while to figure it out. At 6'6" your weight is distributed in one way but a 3" growth spurt redistributes that weight before it starts adding it back. Kid should now have gone thru all of that and about to become the player that was inside all along. Very interesting kid, is he a 3 or a 4 now, is he maybe both?

I like Catchings quite a bit. He can shoot it and athletic, with great size. Was dangerous with BYU, but they did play very wide open modern game. He would expect that here, if he signs
