• North Carolina improved to 8-3 overall with a 41-7 win over The Citadel. The Tar Heels are
5-0 all-time against the Bulldogs.
• Carolina has won 19 of its last 24 games. The 19 wins are the most in back-to-back seasons since winning 21 in 1996 (10) and 1997 (11).
• Carolina has won 11 of the last 12 games at Kenan Stadium, including all seven in 2015 and four of five this season.
• Over the last five games, Carolina’s defense is holding its opponents to an average of 6.8 points in the second half. UNC has allowed just seven to The Citadel, seven to Duke, three to Georgia Tech, seven to Virginia and 10 to Miami.
• Senior safety Dominquie Green picked off a pass and returned it 58 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter. Carolina entered the game as the only school in any Division of the NCAA (644 teams) without an interception. It was Carolina’s first interception return for a touchdown since Jeff Schoettmer returned one 29 yards for a score at Notre Dame in 2014.
• Mitch Trubisky completed 11 of 20 pass attempts for 184 yards and three touchdowns. He moved into third place on the UNC single-season passing chart with 3,188 yards. He trails only Bryn Renner (3,356 in 2012) and T.J. Yates (3,418 in 2010). Trubisky also rushed for a career-high 55 yards.
• Trubisky now has 3,403 yards of total offense this year. That is the third highest single-season total at Carolina. Marquise Williams had 4,020 in 2015 and 3,856 in 2014.
• Trubisky has thrown at least three touchdown passes in a game on six occasions this year and seven times in his career. He moved into fifth place at UNC with 36 career touchdown passes.
• T.J. Logan made a leaping, one-handed touchdown catch in the second quarter. It was his third receiving touchdown of the season and fourth of his career.
• Logan’s 100-yard touchdown return was the longest by a Carolina player at Kenan Stadium and the third 100-yard kickoff return in stadium history. Ace Parker of Duke in 1936 and Jamal Golden of Georgia Tech in 2012 are the others to accomplish the feat.
• Logan set the UNC record with his fourth career kickoff return touchdown. He had two in 2013 and has two this season. In the season opener vs. Georgia, he had a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Logan and Brandon Tate are the only players in school history with two kickoff returns for a touchdown in the same season. Logan accomplished the feat in 2013 and 2015. Tate had two in 2006.
• Logan moved into fourth place in school history with 4,745 career all-purpose yards.
• Ryan Switzer had a 72-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. It is the 11th reception of his career of 50-or-more yards.

• Switzer moved into second place at UNC with 2,651 career yards receiving. He is 189 yards shy of the school record of 2,840 set by Hakeem Nicks (2006-08).
• Junior tailback Elijah Hood rushed for 83 yards on 13 carries. He moved into ninth place all-time at UNC with 2,524 career rushing yards.
• Nick Weiler made a 23-yard field goal in the second quarter and a 41-yarder in the third quarter. Weiler is now 14 of 19 on the season and 39 of 50 in his career. He ranks fifth all-time at UNC with 39 career field goals.
• With his two field goals and five PATs, Weiler increased his career point total to 265. He is now tied with Connor Barth for fourth place in career scoring at Carolina. Casey Barth is the all-time scoring leader with 358 points.
• TE Brandon Fritts caught his first touchdown of the season and fifth of his career with a 19-yard pass from Trubisky.
• Carolina had four takeaways and did not commit a turnover.
• Despite scoring 41 points, Carolina had just 17 minutes, 35 seconds of possession time, smallest amount of the season.
• Defensive tackle Aaron Crawford made a career-high 10 tackles and had his first career sack late in the fourth quarter.
