This statement from the NCAA ruling scares me a bit:
"Improper institutional involvement and influence in a student's academic work in order to gain or maintain eligibility is a violation of NCAA rules and a violation of the most fundamental core values of the NCAA and higher education," the committee wrote.
It is not a very far leap to say that UNC was guilty of this in some way. However, if you look at all of the things hat the Cuse was guilty of, complicit after it new it was under investigation and they only received a one year ban ( yes I know it was self imposed) with scholarship reductions, I am honestly encouraged.
We are only guilty of institutional academic issues, that Roy snuffed out within two years of arriving. In my opinion, even if we get hit, it may not involve any postseason action and might be only a scholarship.
