FSU finally beat lowly Mercer to end its 4-loss start to this season. Meanwhile Louisville might well be headed toward a 0-7 disaster to start Payne's first year as coach.

Louisville is already 0-4 and it looks like they face these guys next (Pomeroy ranking):

Maryland (23)
Miami (44)

We all thought State would be a bottom dweller this year, but it appears that Louisville and Florida State wants to take thier place. In all sincerity, hope they pick up there play, it's not good for the league overall.
