Could be wrong, but Duke's ceiling is probably the sweet sixteen at best.
I'm still scratching my head as to why we can't get better interior players like face got this year .. not that better interior players would have worked with that stupid 4 out garbage but our group was definitely interior deficient and not seeing anything on the horizon to change that.
Dook scares me right now. They are so long and athletic and unlike last few seasons they are getting consistent outside shooting. Lively and Filipowski are both college studs. Roach made the leap I was hoping we’d see from Caleb in terms of being a leader
Hating DOOK without coach K just isn't as sweet. Scheyer actually seems a decent guy by comparison.
Well, compared to so many other Dookies, he certainly is not among the worst. But Dookie is Dookie.

I think they're lacking in guard play and we know that's what wins NCAA tournament games. Roach and Proctor are not bad players but not good enough to carry the load, IMO.
With that said, I certainly don't want duke to win it but I kind of don't care about duke anymore. Scheyerface is hateable I guess because of his face. But he's no K. We killed K. He's dead and gone. Duke is far less hateable without him.

100%. I'd rather Duke not win it all. But even if they do, ending K twice last year makes anything that happens most K less significant to me.
Didn’t mean to step on your toes there but I don’t care for dook at all. Now bilas is good at what he does but that’s it.
I can actually see Duke make a run. Oral Roberts may give them some issues, but if they can get past them, they may play Tennessee who cannot score and Rick Barnes is probably the worst NCAA Tournament coach in the country. Purdue is a one-man team and Duke has a fair amount of size. Purdue reminds me of that Andrew Bogut Utah team that literally only had Bogut. Purdue is better, but I think they're limited.
Then they have Marquette and Kansas State on the bottom and those were 2 pretty over-achieving teams. So Duke would have a talent advantage.

I've hated DOOK for many decades. It's just not the same with Rat Vader gone, I'll find my pace I'm sure.
