Yes Mitch and Hood and Logan will have their name in the headlines each week after a football game but their glory is not just their tremendous athletic ability but the big assistance they are getting from their teammates on the offensive line.
I don't remember seeing Mitch hit all day in the pocket and he was only hurried a couple of times on pass attempts as the hogs protected him so nicely that he had all day to find receivers.
And when the big guys up front were not protecting Mitch from big hits they were opening up giant holes for Hood and Logan....
The hogs up front will never make the big sports highlight shows or ESPN but you know they have done their job well when the Kenan stadium score keeper is kept very busy...
