I love it. Too Funny. I told a client of mine last week that I thought Rodman would be involved at some point.
When exactly did celebrities start getting so much access to the president for serious issues? I know there were some under Obama as well. Can't recall any off the top of my head before that.If Kim Kardashian can advise on prisons then there's no reason Rodman can't advise on international diplomacy. The best people, etc.
I remember Obama injecting himself into popular culture by socializing with celebrities like Beyonce and Jay-Z. I don't recall him consulting with celebrities on policy matters. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, though. When exactly did celebrities start getting so much access to the president for serious issues? I know there were some under Obama as well. I didn't mean that Obama actually consulted with them on policy. I don't think Obama was calling up Hova and asking what he should do about drugs in Harlem. I meant it in the sense that presidents were giving celebrities the opportunity to meet with them for what was essentially a photo op and while they were there they would just have a conversation about the issue. I just don't remember Bush or Clinton doing it. Maybe it just didn't get the same coverage. I did read that JFK had some meetings with Marilyn Monroe to discuss social engagements.I remember Obama injecting himself into popular culture by socializing with celebrities like Beyonce and Jay-Z. I thought that was before he was president? I guess you could say it was kind of a foreshadowing to the celebrity thing now.I actually think Clinton kind of tore down that wall with the MTV and Arsenio Hall stuff that he did.

Right, but these examples are completely different than consulting celebrities on policy matters, which is asinine.Trump was an international celebrity long before he was President unlike most other Presidents. No surprise here that he talks to other celebrities.
Great minds . . .Haha, @Heels Noir and I had very similar ideas haha
Maybe so is some cases, but not others. So not asinine to the whole concept. Bono was consulted on policy matters by many presidents, not saying I agree with it, but don't see the harm either.Right, but these examples are completely different than consulting celebrities on policy matters, which is asinine.
Who did that? I thought you were joking about the Kardashian thing before, but I'm starting to think that you were serious. Trump did that to score points. The only person he listens to is himself.Right, but these examples are completely different than consulting celebrities on policy matters, which is asinine.

I'm sure it was a ploy, but giving her a pardon and basing your policy off of "advice" are different things. I doubt Trump did anything besides look at her tits. He doesn't care what she says.Could still be a ploy, but he did just pardon the woman that they met about.
If Iโm honest, thatโs all Iโd do too.I doubt Trump did anything besides look at her tits.
