The Worst 6 Losses of the Hubert Davis Era

1/2022, the Wake blow out win in Winston, Hubert was out coached, and players played with I don't care attitude.

Home game against Stanford 14 pt favorite that was a game in which all the coaching staff could have just stayed home and the team would have won …

Every aspect of that game that was a coaching disaster

For sure the games listed hurt and hurt a lot but for me, it was last season's loss to duke in the first match-up, we were just mauled in every way, it showed 2 teams on very different levels. The next game vs Clemson ended any remaining doubt as to where this program was. Sure we played duke a couple close games after that and had a nice little run thru the lesser conference teams it did little to remove the pain from those 2 blow outs. It was that duke game that caused me to lose any remaining belief that Hubert can do this.

If I made a worst game list, the NCAA games vs KU and Bama wouldn't be on it. Yes, the Heels lost good-sized leads, but If it were possible, I'd claim those as "good" losses, especially since in those games the Heels didn't give up, both of those opponents ended up in the top 10 in NET, and both were 1-2 possession games with the Heels having chances late to tie

The Stanford game and game @dook last year would definitely be on my list though
