No. 16 North Carolina Hosts No. 25 Virginia Tech in Battle of Ranked Coastal Division Title Contenders In a game with Coastal Division implications, North Carolina, coached by Larry Fedora and led by QB Mitch Trubisky, hosts Coastal Division rival Virginia Tech, coached by Justin Fuente and led by QB Jerod Evans, this Saturday at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill, N.C.(3:30 pm, ABC/ESPN2). UNC, with last second wins over Pitt and Florida State is 2-0 in the ACC, while Virginia Tech, is 1-0. The two teams have split their last four meetings, with each team winning at home and away. The Hokies prevailed at Kenan in 2014. The game matches two of the top quarterbacks in the nation. Trubisky was named the Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 25 while Evans was named the Manning Award National QB of the Week on Sept. 28. Evans is ranked 4th nationally in pass effi ciency (185.8) while Trubisky is 6th (182.6).
