Theo Pinson

After playing a little a few games back, he experienced pain/soreness in the foot he broke. They have held him out because of that.

yeah..he may be used for emergency services from here on out..wish he was getting this experience like the other 2 freshmen

I LOVE this kid and his enthusiasm. He is really into the games and has been since he went down .I am hoping he can play in the NCAA

Excellent!

He looked absolutely terrified and out of place vs dook in Chapel Hill ... took 2 horrendous shots. Honestly I'd prefer that he stays off the court unless it's a blow out or we have serious foul trouble. He's not ready.

He's long and agile, so having him on the defensive side of the ball would help. Another body to wear the other team down is always a good thing, but I agree, he looked out of place last time out.

Theo is a huge energy boost for the team. He is a freshman and inevitably going to be very rusty and tentative coming back from an injury. But, I think if he can get in a few minutes against Harvard, it will lift our team and his confidence. I expect to see Ol'Roy put him in before the first under 12 TO!

We do not need a huge energy boost .... we need players making smart, confident decisions and taking smart, confident shots. Like I said, hopefully we build a big enough lead that he can play without pressure. It's one and done now, the less liability we can have on the court, the better.

Half the team is a liability at decision making. Maybe his energy and hustle can counter some of that. I'm ready for his energy on the floor.

I'm with bleed on this one. His injury has seriously stunted his learning this season. Not giving up on the guy because he's going to turn heads down the road. I just think that the six weeks he missed should preclude him from the normal rotation for the rest of this season. Next year though, WATCH OUT!

There's an appreciation I have when Theo is in the game, not only does he bring a defensive presence with energy to the court, he is also an excellent ball-handler . .

Some of Justin Jackson's most productive stints in our early season games have come when Theo was in the lineup with him.

To me Theo gives us an alternative to Nate that is much better on defense and for the most part has been at least equal decision making. I say get him back on the court and hopefully rust-free by the second weekend if we make it.

I love this kid, but have to agree he needs to sit unless we can give him some time with the first or second team without the game on the line. I've seen it time and time again where teams bring back guys that are valuable in theory but disrupt the play of the other guys who are not used to his play. (can you say Kyrie Irving?) Hopefully, we can get a lead today and be able to insert him to play with the guys and get some recent experience because I think we will need him to play a role down the line.
