These are the kids I like to hear about

Nice when the dream school scenario works out!

This hidden diamond will soon give back problems to the entire ACC!

Yep, really nice story and glad to have him on board. Cool that when asked he came up with UNC and Roy. I hope he listens well, learns and maximizes his potential while at UNC and beyond.

When will we get a better Read on Manley? All Ive heard is that no ones really seen him play and his upside is huge. High school season is starting soon right? WIll he be playing in any big tournaments against good competition?

Here is a local sportswriter that covers Manley's area. I did post this on premium mid-October.

Pickerington Central is in Division I, the highest of four divisions here in Ohio. They play in the Ohio Capital Conference-Ohio Division, generally regarded around here as the best division of the best league. The league has produced multiple district champions in several years, and it's not uncommon for the championship to be a tie among several schools (usually including Central) because they beat up on each other.
Central plays in several elite events per year, including Flyin' to the Hoop in suburban Dayton, which usually draws teams from across the region and beyond. I believe this will be Central's third consecutive year going to FFH.
Central has been solid in basketball for a long time, but especially for the past five or six. The program won the 2012 Division I district title with current OSU player Jae'Sean Tate and former Michigan State player Javon Bess on the roster, and has been in the district and regional conversation every year since although they have yet to return to state.
I hope this helps!

Thanks Deana. I'm willing to bet that Sterling acquits himself very well and steadily advances up the rankings, just as I believe Brandon will. Both will be playing against very good competition and that will be great for their development and also give UNC fans a barometer as to their ranking.

I don't think either one knows how good they can be, Brandon due to lack of good competition, and Sterling due to injury. I'm really looking forward to seeing them blossom with better coaching and better competition.
