He struck me that way, too. Even the Q I asked about still being able to get to 10 wins didn't draw the answer I expected. That goal is still within reach and would be a hell of an accomplishment.

Impossible to have 2024 answers in November of 2023. Things will start progressing here in the next few weeks with the portal opening followed by coaching changes but we won't have a good outlook on the 2024 team for several months.

I suspect we won't have a clue even in late Spring regarding offense. Obviously QB and 3 OL positions are huge questions, but with the portal some crazy stuff could happen. Omarion is going to have some big suitors. Who knows...
