He don't have a clue he is the same coach and team issue as last year.
Red flags as of right now we can't rebound, and players that couldn't find minutes with us are getting minutes and being productive at other places.
Or perhaps he was protecting his freshman guard who struggled all game.
How can fans be so dumb as to not recognize that was exactly what he was doing? Coach Smith would have done the same.
If people watched Ryan and Davis in the PG interview, they also wouldn't describe the last play (even before someone off camera said that they were not going to describe the play because they will be using it in the future). That also could be a reason HD didn't say exactly what they were planning to do.
Hubert didn't lose this game. The players did. Cadeau had one of his worst games. BUT he is learning. Love the kid and by late January he will have adjusted a lot to the college game.

That was Steve Kirschner, UNC's longtime media relations guy. I think Cormac said enough that the mistake was clearly Elliot's. Learning lesson for him, and perhaps for Hubert, too.
perhaps he better tighten it up because the leash keeps getting shorter and shorter with the results and just downright stupid commentary in postgame. it’s OK to answer a question honestly, while not providing every detail of the action you were running but also to say hey, yeh we ****ed that up pretty bad. we will fix it.
If he struggled all game why put him in at the end? Did someone ask him about why he didn't exploit the UK lack of handlers with pressure and scrambling defenses? That was a poorly planned and coached game all the way around. jmo
Really? Why would anyone want to use that play again and it doesn't take a lot of defensive planning for a stupid offensive turnover. EC should have never been brought in to that position at the end of the game. Just plain stupid.
Presser was pretty short. Lots of stuff to ask, lots of media in there, so those of us who regularly cover the team didn't have as many opportunities to ask Qs.
Probably a good thing because I doubt there was a reasonable answer to most of the questions us fans have. It was a poorly coached game from the UNC side. jmo
Cadeau has really struggled since his 10 assist game.. doesn't seem like the big time point guard we were hoping for or expecting. We really need someone else to step up besides Davis. I know Ryan did last night, but even then 2 guys can't do it all. Bacot completely stunk it up and is one of the worst big men for his size and pre season expectations..
