We have 3 teams not even good enough to make the ACC tournament - and only 3 (out of 18) good enough to make the NCAA tournament.

They have only 3 teams that will miss the NCAA tournament - all the rest (13 of 16) are in.

This would be easier to take if UNC were one of the 3 at the top, but it's still very sad for this long-term UNC and ACC fan.

What are we getting out of being in the ACC. Our best hope is Bill Belichick turns football into a powerhouse and the SEC lets us in. Get on the train or get left behind

Or we could decide to be a top basketball school and joint the Big East.

That decision has already been made (in favor of being a football school). So the question is whether we can be a top school in both sports.

Who would have thought that Clemson could be our model?

Anybody who knows football, specifically who grasps what football money and power mean.

But a better example is that we do permanently for UNC football what IU did for last year. The school went in fully own football, and not caring to do anything more for basketball to be good for 2025, and they got I to the playoffs because of that right emphasis, which included making the right coaching hire. By the way, Cignetti is one of the guys I wanted above that old, soft, lying fool Mack Brown.
