Will move into the top 10, as high as 7, in the polls that don't matter.
The playoff poll will be interesting. We should definitely pass Michigan, Florida, and OK State. Maybe ND and Baylor too. Will be interesting to see how they rate us compared to FSU. No doubt we jump them if we beat Clemson, but who knows this week.
I could see it something like this:
1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Oklahoma
4. Iowa
5. Michigan State
6. Ohio State
7. Stanford
8. ND
9. Carolina
10.FSU
11. Baylor
It looks like it shakes out that if the top 3 win, they are in and the MSU/ Iowa game is a defacto playoff.
I think if we win, we are in. Stanford losing to USC would really help. But we are not getting left out over any of the others including OSU.
Perfect scenario is UNC wins, USC wins, and Iowa wins.
If that happens the final poll looks like
1. Bama
2. Iowa
3. Oklahoma
4. UNC
New Year's in Miami would be awesome!!
This is frustrating and exciting.
