I made the mistake of buying 4 tix through Ticketmaster to the ACC championship game before the season started. I think that I paid around $80 per ticket and after all of the fees I paid around $390 total. Since we crapped the bed and are out, I need to get rid of my tickets. My first thought was to donate them to my kid’s sports organizations and they could raffle them off or something, but Ticketmaster will not let you transfer them for this event. So, I’m forced to sell them back through Ticketmaster so that they will be able to collect their fees a 2nd time. Since the beginning of the season the demand for tickets has drastically dropped. The lowest that Ticketmaster will let me list the tickets is $55 each, but they are selling tix in the same section for $51! Even if I somehow sell my tix, I’m taking about a $200 hit after all of their fees. But, they make it so that there is no reason why someone would pay a few more dollars for my seats when they can get them cheaper. Not sure if you guys have ever dealt with this issue in the past, but I will never buy through them again unless I am 100% sure that I’m going to the game. It’s crazy to me that I don’t have control over tickets that I purchased. End of rant!
