My wife pays all the bills so I don't keep up with who gets what and such. I stopped a Spectrum tech the other day and complained about the speed of our internet at home. Told him I pay 119.99 per month I recently discovered and that I didn't feel that we were getting our moneys worth from the service. He said first call to get a tech out to check out your service and tell them to review your bill as you are paying almost double the rate in Greensboro, NC which is currently 64.99 per month. So I check and the Spectrum buy out was completed in May 2016 so I have been overpaying for 21 months .
The lady at Spectrum tells me that it is my fault that I did not call and migrate to Spectrum prices and it was my responsibility to do so. I asked why they didn't just charge me 64.99 per month when I became a Spectrum costumer after the buy out. She said they were not forcing people to pay Spectrum prices and that it was up to the individual costumer to call and migrate from Time Warner to Spectrum to get Spectrum prices .
Should I pursue this , or just chalk it up as a loss. It is about 600 bucks that I over payed during the 21 months ! Should I steal one of their work trucks or something or try to get my money some how ?
