According to multiple sources close to the situation, UNC redshirt freshman offensive lineman Tommy Hatton is currently away from the team dealing with some personal issues. Neither party was specific, but he is not expected to play this weekend at Illinois and there is no definite time table for his return.
Hatton started last Saturday's 33-24 loss to Georgia. Offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic said Hatton played well considering it was his first college game.
