Check this thread out.

That heelguy in particular is a certain type of "special." Threads like this almost make me want Fedora to be hired away, just to punish the idiotic, ungrateful portion of our fanbase. Seriously, we are the whine and cheese fanbase. Fedora has done more than any coach we've had in 15 years preceding his hire....while navigating through very difficult circumstances....and he gets no credit?

Fedora came in at a very tough time, and he has gotten the program past it and looking forward to a long line of bright days. Many coaches would have fallen totally flat in those circumstances. Many others would have achieved less that Fedora has even they got us to bowls.

That must always be acknowledged even when you rightly complain about a Fedora failing.

Exactly. Is he without fault or error in his tenure? Absolutely not. But to focus on the micro (in specific games) and ignore the macro (navigating the ship through the most turbulent waters this program has ever faced) is lunacy and ignorance and unintelligent.

No coach in our recent history would've navigated us through last season undefeated (after SCar) like he did. The game at GT? Everything in our history says we lose that one. The away Pitt Thursday nighter with the Coastal on the line? Ditto. The VT away game that was Beamer's last ever game? History says we lose that one. At State with their season already over and ours still hanging in the balance because Pitt won't friggin lose? History says State breaks our hearts.

Some idiot on that thread I linked said "Fedora won 11 games last year but we were favored in all 11 games." Uhh.....you do know what it takes to be favored in that many games right? A really good team -- you know, the team he built.

i like the entitlement mentality from some of the posters, carolina has so much to offer roy doesn't have to recruit and fedora should be undefeated because _______FITB_________.

they've got this really great button named ignore.
i use it often.
