Not that I know of, no. His connection to Ole Miss was Hugh Freeze.

It brings up an interesting debate of "who sucked more" -- our jimmys and joes, and our coaching. Kirby Smart knows defense, so if he hired TS, it leads me to believe we just didn't have the jimmys and joes to get things done on the DL (not exactly a shocking revelation).
