So would literally everyone on this board. I think it's hysterical when people here suddenly crap on a kid's game or personality when they either don't pick us or pick Duke.
Nobody's "crapping on" his game. However I have a strong feeling that personality would not have gone over well with our guys. Laugh all you want.
I know absolutely nothing about him or his game. I assume he is probably an ok guy because most people are. I assume he is a good player because everyone seems to think he is and Duke recruited him. I don't care though. Give me our guys and we'll play ball.
Said at 5 his dad had him dribble around this mile long track... had to stop at multiple spots & do 25 push ups & 25 sit ups.
At the end of his session he ran a mile & did 250 push ups & 250 sit ups...AT 5 YEARS OLD

First of all, literally no 5 yr old could physically even do anything remotely resembling that... and second, if he was made to do anything resembling that it would be friggin' child-abuse. I can see eyes rolling if he tried to peddle that story to another player

To clarify, no one said he did anything wrong, or was a bad kid (as cb34 suggests he said), those are words being put in Gary's mouth by pot stirrers who have an agenda or don't like Gary. He simply said he didn't feel like he would mesh with our current group. I agree with heelbent, let's focus on hoops & quit antagonizing.
