Trip returning to Duke

Not worried about Trip. He had no other choice. I'm more concerned about Frank Jackson.
Freshman year---key player on NCAA title team
Sophomore year--projected first round NBA pick (didn't attend NBA combine)
Junior year year-- performance deteriorated and projected to go undrafted
Attains college degree prior to senior year
Senior year---????????
They lost the two players that scared me....Luke West Kennard and Tatum. They can't replace these guys.
They still need a point guard.

My guess would be it doesn't make a huge difference, if anything, probably a positive just because K can sell them being better next year.
I think Duval, if he decides before Knox, could be the one to the move the needle for Knox to Duke. Knox has always talked about playing with a great PG, Duke currently does not have that.
Helps us with Knox. If they get Duval, which I believe they will then they will play Duval, Jackson and Allen. Unless they think a senior Allen is going to come off the bench, which I doubt.
Correct. This has been my point all along with Knox. We should get Duval. With Allen and most likely Jackson back all three start with Carter and Bolden. For UNC again I think it's about if Berry stays which I'd think he would.
Well, it means the "GRAY-SON-AL-LEN" cheer will continue to resonate throughout college basketball for every tripping call... so there's that.

Jackson has not perfected the head whip & 3pt sniper flop yet, therefore Trip has to stay to teach them to Trent, Duval & Oconnell (or whatever his name is).

You're right, our guys should be taking the 3 year sociology degree program offered in Durham. Can't imagine all the incredible knowledge they're missing out on.
