And we are currently the worst in acc , averaging 15 turnovers per game. (290th of 347 D1 teams)

The turnovers are obnoxiously bad. Cuse wasn’t even playing great zone defense, our better teams would hang 100 on that zone. Mostly they are just careless and unforced.

im also still perplexed on a team with 7 McDonald’s all Americans we barely have one guy who can make a shot beyond the charity stripe.

The problem is that the bigs take about 60% of the teams FTs, and they suck at making them. They are 58% for the 4 bigs. Bacot is the best of the lot at 64%, and that still sucks.

I believe they were talking about 3 point shooting, not free throw shooting.

Our season has gone by those 2 stats, it is the biggest hurdle for this team. I'm not sure if it is freshmen blues, poor fundamentals, or lack of basketball IQ!

Traditional Carolina teams have had senior leadership to stop runs, hit FTs, not turn over the ball and get us victories. We are now suffering the consequences of the OAD era like many others. Brooks, Black & Platek are more role players so we are depending upon freshmen! We have got to beat dook!
