Two good friends of mine are suffering

For reasons not known or released yet a woman was speeding on river road here and crashed a few days ago. Good samaritans pulled her and her daughter out of the burning car but her 1 yr old they couldnt get out and burned to death. One of the samaritans was a good friend of mine who owns flaming amy's burrito barn. He's still in hospital with 2nd and third degree burns from trying to get the child out of the car seat. I visited him this morning and i've bawled like a baby several times today from what he told me. What he saw and heard is the most horrific thing imaginable. I dont know how i would ever get over something like that. Another friend of mine who i've known for 20 yrs is a fireman who answered the call. I havent talked to him but his wife told mine he is in really bad shape from what he saw.

The wreck happened under the snows cut bridge at the precise spot a friend of my sons landed and died last year from committing suicide jumping off the bridge. My fireman friend witnessed him jumping as well.

My heart goes out to all first responders and what they have to deal with. It has to be so hard to witness this stuff.

So please pray for everyone involved.

Damn dude. Truly sorry to hear this. I can't even imagine.

I know I was a dumbass college kid who used to use River Road all the time like it was a drag strip. I know exactly where this spot is you're talking about. Really dangerous looking back.

I realize it's terribly tough to do this, but they should try to look on the positive side: they saved two people from that wreck - which is heroic and amazing. Hope everyone heals up (physically and mentally).
