Uber Self-Driving Cars

I posted this story in the weird news stories thread like a month ago. Or at least I thought I did.
I think today is the first time they're actually picking up (media and pre-selected) passengers though, or at least that's what they implied when I heard it on the news.
Gotcha gotcha. In Pittsburgh right? The article I read was more to explain that the concept was in motion and testing had begun. Although, I think the article said they were picking up some patrons, but when they were picked up, there were two "drivers" in the front seat.
Yeah, Pittsburgh. According to the article linked above, they are randomly picking up actual customers who have requested a ride and agreed beforehand that it could be a self-driving car. If it is, they ride free. And for now there are still human backup drivers in the front seat.
I've never Uber'd. Back in my day, you just sucked it up and drove drunk. We've become soft.
Why are you creeping around in the OOTB basement?
