UCLA or Kentucky?

I think we'll be playing the Bruins on Sunday . .
I'd rather play UK. I already know we can, and will, beat Kentucky. We're due to beat them. We almost beat them in December without Theo and Monk had to shoot 50 points by himself.
Wow I haven't seen that name in years.
I hope UCLA wins so tickets will be cheaper when I go Sunday
Both are going to be tough. I think we match up a bit better against UCLA. Who knows. Guys better get hydrated, it is going to be a battle.
Cancer or Heart Disease? I don't want either, but UNC can get it done Sunday regardless of who comes out on top tonight. Hopefully UCLA and KY go into Triple, Quadruple, Quintuple, Sextuple, Septuple, Octuple, etc... OVERTIME!
Fox and Monk are nightmare matchups for Carolina. We don't have anyone fast enough to stay in front of Fox which allows him to get into the lane and kick out to Monk, Willis and Hawkins for 3's. On the flip side, they don't have an answer for Jackson. Briscoe can't guard him and Gabriel is a terrible defender. For UK to win, their guards have to play great because they don't have much in the post.
Kentucky is impressive but it's against a poor defense in UCLA they are playing against. So far from the games I have watched Kansas, SC, Kentucky and NC are the top 4 with the Zags close. Kansas looks to be the odds on favorite to me to win it all. Jackson is a matchup nightmare for us.
It'd be nice to have Kenny available to back up Theo in this game. Nate cannot guard Monk due to his size. Theo is gonna have to be locked in more than ever before. Berry is gonna have his hands full staying with Fox. He's gotta play smart without fouling.
Well, looks like it's your worst nightmare! Ky is peaking at the right time. The Cats have one more overrated opponent before they head off to Phoenix! Lol

Before the tournament, most UK fans had 2 teams that we would have prefered to avoid...
UNC and UCLA, and now we have them both in back to back games!
UNC is solid, balanced, skilled, big, and well coached and it will take a tremendous effort for UK to pull it off on Sunday.
I hope the game is played clean and the refs let the players decide the outcome.

I will feel quite fortunate if we make it by Ky. No matter who wins, I hope for a clean, fair game with no injuries for either team.
As a UK fan, the one team I did not want UK to face was UNC.
I'm curious to see the Willis/Hicks matchup. I think all attention is on the guards, rightfully so, but Willis can create a nice mismatch himself.
Bench points. Who can give more? A guy like Hawkins or can Maye step up and provide a spark like he did against Butler basically giving them UNC too much for Butler to overcome.

I assure you that North Carolina, Kansas, & Kentucky will never be a pushoves to any team ever.

Should be a fun game against 2 giants of BBall, this is the greatest time of the year and i expect an epic battle, UNC is looking very good, good luck UNC fans!!
This Kentucky team has came along way. They have been playing lock down team D for over a month and on a 14 game winning streak. They are tested too, Kentucky has played:
UCLA (twice)
Louisville
North Carolina (soon to be twice)
Kansas
Florida (twice)
South Carolina
Arkansas (twice)
Wichita State
The SEC as a conference calls a TON of fouls. At one point the SEC was averaging 45 fouls called per game. They are really good at shooting free throws.
My point is, Kentucky is young every year but this team is mature. They have played a tough schedule against top 10 defenses (Louisville, Florida, South Carolina). They have played against running teams, they have played against the #1 offense twice (UCLA), and they played against the best team in the country (Kansas). They can grind it in a half court set like they did against Wichita St.
Carolina and Kentucky, what more can you say. Carolina has all the experience in the world and very talented. When we played the first time, you guys had a couple guys out or not 100%, and Kentucky was basically a bunch of new faces who hadnt played together but a few games. Both teams are alot better. Gonna be fun.
