I'm tired. I'm hungover. I've had a bad gambling week. And I don't wanna be at frickin work. I wanna be home and in my bed and/or in my recliner getting a blowj.

Anybody else not give af today?

I need more of this in my life

I envy you. Stay single as long as you can, man.

"Working" from home. It's nice.

This.

But this is a blessing and a curse. I am blessed to be able to work from anywhere, anytime I want. But the result usually is that I wind up working around the clock. It's hard to shut it down. Usually stop long enough at night to hang out with the family, but once the kids are in bed, I'm back in front of the computer till 1am-2am timeframe.

I only work from home every fourth Friday, but I can log on any time I want. My boss always preaches "work to live, not live to work" so I get my eight hours in, and I'm out to not give a crap about it until the morning.

I just got in the office. And I'll probably shut it down around 3:00 pm today. Might even take a 2 hour lunch.

Enjoy that. Sounds like a good company.

Thankfully my crew loves to work 4-10s
Off most Fridays. But I still find it hard to just sit. Especially since having back surgery. Be glad to be healed of this.

I don't think that @TarHeelNation11 wants to just "sit" I believe that he would like to be entertained while he sits!!!

I'm with you here. I'm trying to avoid back surgery...but the pain can be excruciating at times.

The bad part about working 5-8s instead of 4-10s is, if you're salary like me, the 8s usually turn into 10s anyway.

Exactly. I have some friends that are hourly that say they want to get to a "salaried" job. I understand they mean a more serious career-type job, but every time they say it I tell them I'd kill to be paid hourly. I'd damn near double my income if I got paid time and a half for everything over 40 hours in a week.

Abso-friggin-lutely. I envy people who are hourly. Like you, I'd increase my take-home substantially if I got time and a half.

I probably work 50-55 hours a week.

If it holds, it will be well worth it. So far, my pain level has been minimal. Except shortly afterwards. But the 15lb restriction is killing me

I understand. I have gotten three spinal injections now that haven't really done jack sh!t. It feels like the worst type of injury and the damn thing just lingers on and on for seemingly forever. Going to another specialist next week that says they have the "next great treatment method" or some BS. I don't really care as long as I avoid what my doctor told me, which was to take 6 months off from working out. I've lost 10lbs in the last 2 months alone...it's mental torture when you're used to being active.

Believe me, it was the last resort. Spinal injections are nothing more than band-aids. The removed bone and a protruding disk in my lower back. Before, it felt like my back would literally break Everytime I moved. Plus not being able to walk correctly.
Now, I'm upright and moving fine. No pain meds since 5 days post surgery. Before, was popping them constantly.

Thanks for helping derail 11s thread.

I chomp at every opportunity to do so! I'm jealous as hell at the "single life"...complaining about having to struggle through a Friday? GMAFB! Try doing the family thing day in, day out...every day is a "work day."

I'm actually going to try Airrosti...supposedly some fast treatment option. The owner of the gym I go to referred me to them and at this point, I'll try anything. Glad yours is better!

I hope your wife doesn't read this board.

I used to work a 9/80, which meant you worked 9 hours Mon-Thur, and 8 hours on Friday But you get every other Friday off! 80 hours in 9 days.... that was awesome.

Your company must've not been in the business of making money lol.

Our company would go bust if we took a day off every other week. We take ~8 days off a year.
