How do you guys see the backcourt rotation shaking out this season? Paige is effective and versatile playing on or off the ball, but who joins him for the majority of the minutes? I assumed Berry would take over at PG and allow Paige to be one of the league's leading scorers at SG. The other possiblity sounds like Pinson could get the lion's share of minutes at SG with Paige running the offense. What's your best guess? Kinda seems like Britt could be the odd man out.

Don't take this the wrong way as brown nosing on another team's site, but UNC is my preseason #1 without a doubt. Best combination of talent, experience, and coaching in the land. I look forward to the matchup with Louisville again this season.

Roy has lots of possibilities. One would think Paige-Berry is option #1. But we shall see going forward.

I have a feeling that Britt will get many opportunities especially early in the season to see if he can be a consistent threat from the outside. Ol'Roy loves seniority and I believe will will see an early rotation of Berry/Paige, Paige/Britt and then Berry/Pinson with Williams getting into the mix depending upon how well he develops on the defensive end. Britt switched from a Lefty to a Righty last season and shot 37 percent from deep, second only to Paige amongst the returners. If he can move that figure to the mid40s, he could solidify his spot as our Number 2 SG! I expect Ol'Roy to give him the opportunity!

Personally I think our back court is as good as any team in the country. Of course it begins with the pre-season POY in Paige, IMO the best 2 guard in the nation and one of the top 5 or 6 PGs in the nation. I strongly believe that Joel Berry will start at the point, as many will recall he was rated a top 3 PG coming out of high school and played not just starter minutes down the stretch for us last season but seemed to grow with each passing game. Our average points per minute drastically increase when he is playing point for us. CLEARLY Jackson starts for us on the wing and is being touted as a NBA lotto guy next draft.

Backing up we have Nate Britt, who I am hard on but really developed in to a consistent jump shooting threat for us last season, IMO the fastest guy with the dribble we have. Started most of his frosh season for us so he is very seasoned. Theo Pinson, I am calling it right now, actually called it several weeks ago, before Pinson leaves UNC he will be widely considered as one of the best and possibally THE best defender to ever wear the UNC jersey! Extremely athletic, very long arms and a motor that does not stop, more of a wing than a 2 but able to hande either position. He IMO is George Lynch and UNC fans can appreciate how much that means!

From there we have Kenny Williams, a sweet jump shooting gym rate freshman that will quickly become one of Roy's favorite kids, extremely coachable and willing to learn and work to get better. This kid is going to get some PT, IMO he will back up Paige at the 2 and at times Paige moves over to the point and Kenny plays with Paige. I am maybe higher on him than most UNC fans, I see about 8mins a game minimum by the half way mark of the season. This kid is a P-U-R-E shooter, just needs to get some LBs on that body kid is way under rated IMHO, dare I invoke the name of one of our assistent coaches who was not big time hyped out of high school...

We have Stillman White who has started for us at the point in the NCAAT level experience, was hurt all last season but there are a lot of D-1 programs Stillman would be the starting PG for.

That is talent, depth, and experience for ya, what other team matches all 3 stronger?

IMO our back court is our strength, our front court I have to see, have a few questions there but we bring back every one of our front court guys that got anything more than mop up minutes last season. The experience and talent is definite there as well but we did struggle with longer teams last season so that unit leaves me with some lingering questions that our back court does not give me.

Stillman has "growed" up. He has improved his build a great deal.
Our front court needs to play smart.
