• Armando Bacot scored a career-high 24 points, tied his career-high with six blocks and posted his second straight double-double with 12 rebounds. It was his 20th career double-double.
• Bacot’s previous career highs were 23 points and six blocks vs. Oregon as a freshman.
• Carolina trailed by as many as 11 in the first half and by six at the half. UNC took its first lead at 48-46 on a Brady Manek three with 16:53 to play.
• Bacot scored with 15:52 to play for a 50-49 lead, a lead UNC would not relinquish the rest of the game.

• Caleb Love had 22 points and a game-high six assists. It was his fourth career 20-point game (second of the season).
• Kerwin Walton made four three-pointers and finished with 14 points. It was the sixth time in his career he made at least four three-pointers.
• Carolina shot 64.3 percent from the floor in the second half (18 of 28 field goals). It was the highest UNC has shot in a half this season.
• Carolina has shot better than 50 percent in four of six halves this season.
• Carolina has scored more than 90 points in two of the first three games. Last season UNC scored 90 points for the first two times in February against Duke and Louisville.
