so, why no 3:30 game? who else is playing then?Blame ESPN and the Big 10. ESPN/2/ABC assigned the Nebraska - Mich State game (boringgg, NU is awful) for 8 p.m. kick and mirrored the Ohio State - Minnesota game for an ABC 8:00 p.m. kick.
That left only 3:30 and 12/12:30 for the ACC.
Clemson - FSU....so, why no 3:30 game? who else is playing then?
It's in Kenan.A 12:00 kickoff in Wallace Wade is GOOD for the Heels ...Battlestar Gallatica overlaps this time frame so the only fans in the stadium will be wearing baby blue or a State Trooper uniform.
Clemson - FSU should be an evening game, but what do I know?Clemson - FSU....
ACC assigned its best game from that week's slate to 3:30. All that was left was 12/12:30 national slots (ESPN/2) and then the 3:00 RSN, which I think Wake got because it's a low-demand game.
How can you blame the B1G? Doesn't the network have total discretion as to which games to televise when? Looks like some favoritism being displayed to the B1G (14) , in a effort to get TWO playoff spots for their conference by putting their 2 most prominent undefeated teams on prime time display .....could there be some back door negotiating and non-contract "compensation" going on to accomplish that?? Seems like Swofford, and the similar reps of the Big XII(10), and SEC should be asking ESPN for some explanation of WTF is going on. Here's to hoping that the Cornhuskers and Golden Gophers both have GREAT games like Ga Tech did last Saturday night!!Blame ESPN and the Big 10. I agree but see my post above. B1G games were selected by ESPN for primetime instead. Plus the Oklahoma game.Clemson - FSU should be an evening game, but what do I know?
By "blame the B1G" I meant more like get mad at them for being so attractive for TV broadcasts because of large alumni (and thus potentially much more eyeballs) and larger stadiums which look more impressive on TV.How can you blame the B1G? Got to be worried when our fans don't realize the game this year is at home. I don't care if it starts at 7:30 a.m. as long as we kick the azzes of those arrogant douche bags and their old codger coach all the way back to derm and I will be there. It's in Kenan.

well if you had gone to derm it would have only been a short drive to Kenan ..LOL now if I could just remember where I left my cell phone.Yes 58 .. be worried that I got confused. Sad thing is, I even have tickets to the game, ha! I'm headed from RDU to Pittsburgh this week ... will be in Blacksburg in a few weeks ... I'll get it all figured out by game time!
Exact time isn't set in stone but the only two options are noon and 12:30.Is that set in stone? I was certain it would be a 3:30 pm kick off.

Oh so you are one of the enablers. I will not allow dook or moo fans in my seats or in my car to the game....just me though. That's terribly disappointing. By the way, I'll be coming with the fam and a couple of my buddies (one a duke fan) and their families. We'll have quite a few folks so I still don't know what our parking arrangements are. I'll post next week after I know and we'll see if it's convenient for any of us to get together during the tailgate.

I got a feeling it will be a good crowd, particularly if we win tomorrow night. Shoot, even 'slinger is coming.Unfortunately the reverse of what Bleed posted will be true. A 12:30 (or earlier) kickoff in Kenan will negate any home field advantage we'd have against the dookies as the place will be half empty anyways (half full if I wanna look at it optimistically haha).
Although if both teams enter the game undefeated in conference and ranked, I would love for the Tar Heel faithful to show up in droves to serve me a nice pile of crow.
