North Carolina and NC State, the largest athletic departments in the UNC System, would receive less money from sports betting taxes under the House’s proposed budget than under the budget passed by the Senate earlier this session. UNC and NC State don’t currently receive any money from sports betting taxes, unlike the other 13 UNC System schools. (WRAL.com)
