UNC offers 8th grade wr

North Carolina has offered class of 2019 wide receiver Blake Hinson (Daytona Beach, FL/Warner Christian Academy), per Demetric Warren of VarsityPreps.com. That's right, class of 2009. He is an 8th grader. UNC is the first school to offer, but likely not the last.

At 6-foot-5, 200-pounds, Hinson already has elite wide receiver size.

Are offers sport-specific? If he grows to 6'10" maybe he can keep that UNC offer and just play Center for Roy on the bball team
