Carolina Notes
• The Tar Heels clinched a winning record on the road in ACC play for the 43rd time in 69 seasons.
• Carolina is 7-3 on the road this season (6-3 in ACC play).
• Armando Bacot became the first Tar Heel to ever compile at least 20 points, 15rebounds and five blocks in a game. He had 28 points, 18 rebounds and five blocks.
• It was Bacot’s ninth 20-point game of the season (third with 25 or more).
• Bacot tied the UNC record for rebounds in a game against NC State (Billy Cunningham had 18 on 1-13-1965 in Chapel Hill).

• Bacot tied the UNC single-season record for games with 10 or more rebounds. It was his 23rd of the season. Brice Johnson had 23 in 40 games in 2015-16.
• It was Bacot’s 22nd double-double this season (40th career), which ties Cunningham for the second most in a season by a Tar Heel. Johnson holds the record with 23 in 40 games in 2015-16.
• This was the third straight game and eighth time this season Bacot had 15 or more rebounds.
• It was the fifth time this season he grabbed 18 or more rebounds. Cunningham is the only Tar Heel with more 18-rebound games in a season (nine in 1963-64, eight in 1962-63 and five in 1964-65).
• Cunningham is the only Tar Heel to have 15 or more rebounds at least three consecutive games. This was the fourth time this season Bacot has had 15 or more rebounds in consecutive games.

• The Tar Heels shot 60.0% from the floor in the first half. UNC shot 62.5% from the floor in the first half against NC State in Chapel Hill on January 29.
• Carolina shot 51.8% from the floor for the game. UNC is 10-0 this season when it shoots 50% from the floor.
• Carolina held NC State to 37.9% from the floor. UNC is 10-0 when holding the opponents under 40% and 17-0 when holding the opponents to 45% and under this season.
• The first half was the sixth this season in which the Tar Heels shot 60% or better.
• Carolina was 21 for 23 from the free throw line, a season-high 91.3% (previous high was 90.5% in home win over Georgia Tech).

• Brady Manek made two three-pointers. His second of the first half was his 300th collegiate three-pointer.
• Manek tied his career high with five assists (also against Virginia this season).
• Puff Johnson scored a career-high 16 points. He made two 3FGs, his first career multi-three game. He scored 12 points in the second half, four points more than his previous career high for a game, which was eight against NC State this season at home.
• Carolina came into the game leading the ACC in rebounding and rebound margin. UNC had 46 rebounds (most since January 22 at Wake Forest) and out-rebounded the Pack by 21 (largest margin since out-rebounding Elon, 48-24, on December 11).

Series Notes
• The Tar Heels lead the series, 163-79, winning 35 of the last 40 and 52 of the last 64 games against the Wolfpack.
• UNC is 68-47 at NC State, including 18-5 against NC State in PNC Arena. Carolina also has four NCAA Tournament wins (two each in 2008 and 2016) for a 22-5 overall record at PNC Arena.
