Johnson at the line gets one and Indiana up 35-29…Without many points from Davis and Love I am really surprised the Tar Heels are only down 6…
Honestly, the offensive flow is really bad. We hardly get any easy shots. I know IU is good but with the players we have we can play better than this on offense. And I don't want to hear about the refs; it's our offense that needs to get better.
The inability to handle the hard on ball pressure to get into scoring position is reminiscent of Tennessee and Kentucky last year. Just not able to get into anything, trying to deal with the ball pressure.
starting back court 2-9 in first half. arguably have to be the worst shooting highly regarded back court in the country by a long shot.
some of the analysts who questioned why we gave hubert an extension after a 1 year run without his players where we seemingly got crazy hot at the right time are starting to look more right with each passing game.
Better find a way to get Nickel some minutes or it’s going to be a long year the spacing is not there
Hard to run offense when all 5 guys are standing outside the three point line. What happen to the back screen alley oop? Haven’t seen that once this year. This iso NBA play needs to stop it ain’t working!!!!!
I agree. I have been saying this since game one. He IS NOT the answer to our four spot. He makes freshman mistakes and for a graduate senior that is unacceptable. The whole team minus Leaky looks weak, lost and pathetic. For a veteran team this is unacceptable. I have never seen a Tar Heel team look so uninspired, unfocused and play with no fire or passion like this one. I will say it again Hubert and the rest of the coaching staff have been horrendous. Him not trying to develop the bench in game one is inexcusable. These are extremely talented players that are not getting any kind of run and with the lack of experience it kills the kids confidence.

Leaky looks pretty bad this half. Misses an open layup, passes up an open three to take a contested 15 foot fadeaway, and a bad foul at halfcourt....
What a joke. Team full of juniors and seniors getting drummed by IU. Same team as regular season last year, nothing has changed.
That's at least understandable. TJD is really good. Who taught these guys shot selection?
