UNC vs Iowa State Official Game Thread

Over the last 14 and a half minutes, Iowa state was called for 1 foul. They didn’t change the way they played defense, officials just stopped calling what they did the first five and a half minutes. And Carolina needs to box out, way too many offensive rebounds.

After about 3 3s from Grill put Leaky on him. It’s quite clear Love doesn’t care nearly enough to lock down a guy on d plus grill was about 6 inches taller than him. Quicker too

Love and Grill are both 6’3”. But I agree after he got hot, Leaky should have been the primary defender on him. We didn’t play with enough urgency today, hopefully its a wake-up call
Grill had the nights of all nights….I’ve seen this story too many times for UNC.
But the biggest disappointment was Bacot just turning the damn ball over…..followed by RJ and Caleb.

This team got out played and out coached by an unranked team.
The reality is they got hot at the right time last year.

Well, it still early in the season, and they will improve. Long way to go until March, hated that bull eye with being ranked number one. They should not even start a ranking system until the end of December. Maybe now team will not be so motivated to play Uno number one.
We are a 4/5 seed posing as a number 1 overall atm unfortunately. Acc seeding this tournament is gonna be low again.
Never bought into the number one ranking to begin with. I’ve watched this team the past three years maybe by March they can make a run
The truth of the matter is, no one is playing lights out in college ball the month of November. This is still a development period for a lot of teams. Teams which are peaking now, will be no where to be found in late February. Have seen this play out way too many times, we just need to be patience. Guess Kansas and Gonzaga are feeling some pains today as well.
