UNC vs NC STATE GAME THREAD

New coach at moo is making it interesting to see what and how they play. After the beatdown last year I expect they will be coming at us with a chip. The Tar Heels must play with poise and energy with execution to secure the win. I expect a close game and as a homer, expect a narrow victory.

If we lose, we'll be tied in conference with State at 5-4.

Markell Johnson has averaged 13 assists per game in his last 2 games. 9 per game since returning from suspension. 3:1 turnover ratio.
As I understand it, he wasn't allowed to practice with the team during his 7-game suspension. And he struggled some when he came back. But it looks like he's up to speed.

Abu has been a non-factor since his return from injury. But we can all remember that he was dangerous in previous years. With our luck, this will be the game when he shows up.
Can't take him for granted.
He used to get in foul trouble, but we don't challenge enough to get him in foul trouble, so can't count on that. Unless maybe Roy impressed his guys to play more aggressively on offense inside. If we keep falling away and shooting from outside, Abu won't have the opportunity to get in foul trouble.

Lot of points early as both teams are taking most of their shots from in close which is better than all of the three pointers we have seen as of late. 10-8 at the first CBS tv break
Dorn has been good for them for a few years. Somewhat weak on D, but nice aggressive play on offense. Never a star but the kind of player you like on your team.
Kenny Williams looking more like Kenny of last year over the last few games. Major slump right now.
