Coach Tom Osborn spoke at our school last night about a Liberty bowl game between Nebraska and UNC. I don't know what year it occurred. Was a pretty funny story. He said they were losing and we had just fumbled. Said he had no idea what plays to call and a manager suggested plays 7 and 8. He said they marched right down the field but were stopped on the 10 yard line. He said he ignored his quarterback because he had no clue what to do. His quarterback ran a bootleg and scored to beat us, it was play #14. He asked his quarterback why he called that play and his quarterback said 8 plus 7 was 14. He explained that it was 15 and his quarterback told him if he was as smart as him they would have lost the game!
