Temple is a solid team. There are some intriguing matchup questions for sure.

UNC is 16th nationally in offensive passing efficiency but Temple is 8th nationally in passing efficiency defense. UNC is 114th nationally in red zone offense and Temple is 4th nationally in red zone defense. Etc.

The Heels will have an advantage in talent but had better be prepared for a fight.

I certainly don’t think it will be easy. We’re not good enough to be able to take anybody lightly. I think we’ll be ready to play but Temple doesn’t have much history in football and I’m sure their team will be excited and rarin’ to go as well.

This is going to be a challenge for the Tar Heels, and I'm glad that we will be relatively healthy going into the matchup....Temple is the only team to beat Memphis this year which is playing in the Cotton Bowl.....Don't know what kind of crowd Temple will bring, but this is going to be a good matchup for the Tar Heels, and one that I hope we can win to finish with a winning record in Mack's first year....
