That 70s Show obviously went on WAAAAY too long and turned to crap but the first few seasons were excellent. As sitcoms go, I thought both Night Court and WKRP in Cincinnati were good, underrated. I don't think the writing these days is as funny in most sitcoms (example: Big Bang Theory, That 70's Show, are garbage)
I agree about WKRP. That show was moved around the schedule so much it was always losing followers. When it was cancelled after 4 seasons there was a large outcry by its fans, but by the time the producers realized their mistake the cast had already moved on to other projects. The cast that was assembled for WKRP was fantastic. I have the new box set with about 85% of the original music restored. If you are like me and have watched all the episodes you should see the episode about the 50K guess the song contest episode. The entire last 10 minutes are totally different. With different actors as the guy who tried to steal the money. Check it out if you can.As sitcoms go, I thought both Night Court and WKRP in Cincinnati were good, underrated. Agree on WKRP. That show was great. It's on MEtv, but it's the episodes without the original soundtrack. I need to look into that box set.I agree about WKRP. It's a really f'd up Jonny Quest with a lot of nerd culture.
That you do. Its made by "SHOUT FACTORY" and from my understanding they paid a nice piece of money to get most of the original songs back. Every episode I notice one of the original ones. You can find them on eBay for around $35.00 which to me is a steal..... Good Luck and oh yea,Agree on WKRP. That show was great. It's on MEtv, but it's the episodes without the original soundtrack. I need to look into that box set.
